European Equities

European equity bourses are higher on Thursday and
extending gains inspired by comments from Fed Chairman Bernanke the
previous session and correction lower in crude oil prices. SAP is higher
following better-than-expected Q2 net profit result.

British Airways is another notable gainer on market talk of
a takeover by Emirates. Elsewhere, Nokia is higher, but off session
highs following release of quarterly earnings results -- largely on "buy
the rumour, sell the fact", after morning gains on expectations of
strong numbers, driven by a quarter-on-quarter increase in sales of
high-end phones.

CAC-40 is up 40pts (+0.82%), Xetra-DAX is up 29pts
(+0.51%) and FTSE-100 is up 26pts (+0.45%).
