Crude Oil Update

Prices were lower in Asia, having soared in US trading
overnight following a pipeline spill which forced energy major BP to
start closing production at the US's biggest oil field in Alaska. New
York's main contract, light sweet crude for delivery in September, was
last quoted down $0.25 at $76.73 a barrel from its close of $76.98 in
the US overnight.
